Is the pregnancy test really free?
Yes. The pregnancy test and the ultrasound are both free. There's no co-pay, and nothing is owed later. STI testing and treatment are free for patients who qualify.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Call or text (414) 465-2246 and we'll find you a time. We're open Monday to Thursday, 10 AM to 4 PM.
How soon can I have an ultrasound?
After a missed period and a positive pregnancy test. That's about your body, not our schedule. Any earlier, and the scan often can't show what it needs to show.
Do you perform or refer for abortions?
No. We offer a free test, a free ultrasound, and facts about all of your options.
Can I bring someone with me?
You are welcome to bring up to two guests. If you bring a child, please bring a support person to supervise them during your visit.
Who does the ultrasound?
All ultrasound exams at APS Medical are performed by a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or a Registered Nurse trained in limited obstetric ultrasound. All exams are also read and interpreted by a licensed OB/GYN.
